Hi! I’m primarily a ceramicist, but I dabble in digital art, painting, and design. I go by cheapcrutch because art started as a vice that I thought would be cheaper than cigarettes, but it turns out, usually isn’t. I’m fascinated with the crutches we lean on, how we use them to cope, and how some of them aren’t really so bad. My work is heavily influenced by traditional tattoos, children’s book illustrations, and music, but I like to reserve the right to experiment in various directions, too.
